With an increase in our pace of life and draw towards the instant boost of energy from coffee chains, tea has evolved in Britain towards a casual affair that many take for granted. This project aims to allow people to come together and discover the cultures and process that surround this national beverage. A brewing and tasting experience in the basement will allow the scent of tea to rise through the floors above, connecting the space together as a whole and echoing the way tea brings people together.
